In autumn, Tyrol is at its most atmospheric. Nature turns into a sea of colour, the clear air opens up sweeping views, and photo-worthy moments await at every turn. One place for these special moments is the Gaislachkogl mountain station. Just 45 minutes from our Alpinhotel Post, the cable car takes you to over 3,000 metres above sea level. Up there, a futuristic highlight awaits: the Ice Q restaurant, near the tranquil Herzlsee lake. In autumn especially, the warm tones of nature create a striking contrast against the deep blue sky.

No less impressive is Lake Piburg above Ötz. In the morning, the forests and Acherkogel mountain are mirrored on the water’s still surface; in the evening, the sun bathes everything in golden light. A circular trail offers vantage points from every angle, and from the Seejöchl, you can take in the full panorama.

The suspension bridge in Längenfeld is also spectacular: 220 metres above the valley floor, it delivers not only a thrill but also exciting photo opportunities.

The Venter Tal valley offers a picture-perfect Alpine backdrop: mighty peaks and traditional Alpine pastures. When you catch a glimpse of the historic Rofenhöfe farmsteads between the slopes, the view feels straight out of a film set.

And finally, the Stuibenfall waterfall near Umhausen: Tyrol’s highest waterfall sends its spray across viewing platforms and a suspension bridge, creating a natural spectacle that brings every picture to life.
