Embark on a ski tour to the Hinterer Wurmkogel, nestled on the picturesque border with Italy, and experience more than just the thrill of skiing. As you prepare for the descent, a variety of paths unfold before you. We recommend skiing down the first steep slope of the black piste – depending on the snow conditions, of course. And as for safety? The route is considered safe as it mostly runs within the ski area. One of the tour’s standout features is its extended season appeal. Positioned at such a high altitude, this area often retains its snow blanket well into June, offering post-season skiing when many other slopes have closed for the year.
