If you are planning to spend your hiking holidays in the Alps, then we have something in common. You love the mountains just as much as we do! Our whole family shares this passion and has a long tradition in welcoming mountain friends here in the Ötztal valley; this tradition goes back over 100 years. A keen love for the mountains was also the reason for the foundation of the Similaun Alpine Club in 2001. As mountain friends it is our mission to show our guests the fascinating mountain world during their hiking holidays in the Ötztal valley and inform them about the risks and dangers. The Similaun Alpine Club is a platform, which gives mountain friends the possibility to explore the surrounding nature together and share individual experiences in the community.

As a guest of our hotel in Vent in Tyrol you have the possibility to become a member of the Similaun Alpine Club and enjoy many benefits.

Today the Similaun Alpine Club counts over 300 friends. Become a member and join the club, so we can explore the mountains of Vent and the Ötztal valley together! Simply fill in the membership form and send it to us via e-mail to natur@alpinhotel-post.com or come by our hotel to register. The only condition for membership is the ascent to the summit of Mt. Similaun at 3,606 metres.
