Following ancient trails in our hotel in the Austrian Alps

In our hotel in the Austrian Alps located in the mountaineering village Vent you can start your hiking tours right outside the hotel door. What about a tour to the place where Ötzi was found?

Hotel Post, our hotel in the Austrian Alps, is located at 1,900 metres height in the mountaineering village Vent. We are right at the end of the valley, which is why there is no traffic, but plenty of inviting mountain huts. A great experience for mountaineers is the hike to the Similaun hut at 3,019 metres. The hut is closely connected to our hiking hotel in the Austrian Alps; after all it has been in our family for a long time. Get a bite to eat and grab a drink or a glass of wine and then continue to the place where the frozen man was found. Here you enjoy spectacular views of the north side of Fineilspitze and Simliaun. We are happy to accompany you to the historic site. After all we are passionate hikers ourselves and love to be out and about in the mountains. Back at our hotel in Tyrol, you can relax in our “little mountain lake”, unwind and recharge, before heading off again the next day, starting right outside our hotel in the Austrian Alps.
