Count down for the ski season

The slopes are still open – until the end of April

The sun is shining, the weather is mild, and there’s still fun to be had on the slopes!

Let’s face it: When the sun is shining, life simply feels brighter. And that’s true for skiing as well. So, we have some good news for you: Most ski resorts in the Ötztal Alps are still open until the end of April. While the Gries ski resort closes on 11 April, the Hochötz-Kühtai, Niederthai, and Vent ski resorts are open until 18 April. The Sölden and Gurgl ski resorts close on 25 April followed by the Sölden glacier on 6 May. The conditions are perfect for visiting Austria for your winter holidays, or so we think. Fresh mountain air, plenty of sunshine, lots of exercise, and unforgettable views await you on the slopes. Afterwards, you can relax at Alpinhotel Post in our sauna village with little mountain lake and enjoy delicious home cooking as well as first-class service and heartfelt hospitality. So, grab your sunglasses, hop onto your skis, and hit the sunny slopes of the Ötztal Alps!
