As the new year started a few weeks ago, are you still looking for good resolutions? Here are our tips.

Our New Year's tips, from one of the best Austrian Alps hotels in Tyrol, are easy to fit into your everyday life and could very well reduce your carbon footprint.

  1. Eat more plant-based food.
    There are few measures that would help more in terms of climate change and, according to several studies, is also good for the health than eating plant-based meals. Try it once a week with your friends and family. You can substitute animal-based proteins for the hearty chickpea or other packed with protein legumes.
  2. Store your memories online.
    Delete all unnecessary data you’ve saved online, including emails – especially those with large attachments. Many computers and servers use air-conditioning for their online storage and only few of them use green electricity.
  3. Walk or bike to work instead of driving by car. 
    This is an easy one! You won’t just be helping the environment, but also yourself. A daily walk or bike could have a great impact on your overall health.
