Art. Nature. Ötztal.
A symposium of impressions
This unique and scenic trail in Vent will surprise you with its outstanding pieces of art.
Barteb’ne is a very special hiking trail, situated between our Hotel Post in Vent and the Rofenhöfen huts. It’s an extraordinary open-air gallery that was erected at 1,900 metres above sea level as part of the international sculpture symposium ARTeVENT. Over a period of several years, artists from all over the world created a total of 14 masterpieces using different kinds of stones. They placed the sculptures on a spot of their choice along the path. Some are big, imposing, and striking while others are smaller, a bit more inconspicuous, and better integrated into the surrounding nature. There’s one thing they all have in common: They tell a story that can be interpreted differently by everyone. Audio guides will help you better understand the meaning and creation of all the pieces of art. You can download yours directly on your phone.
Your next hiking holidays in the Alps will make you fall in love with Ötztal and its beautiful trails.
