Reliable hospitality at the Natur- & Alpinhotel Post
One thing is for sure: we will always be there for you!
Your safety and well-being are very important to us: after having re-opened our hotel on 12th June, we have taken many safety and hygiene measures to guarantee you the highest possible level of safety. Despite physical distance, we have not lost sight of our hospitality and warm-heartedness.
With the variety of these new measures that we are implementing with the utmost responsibility, personal initiative and common sense are also required. Only in this way can we succeed in controlling the virus.
We would be delighted if you continue to place your trust in us in these turbulent times!
For a pleasant stay with us at Natur- & Alpinhotel Post, we have summarised the most important information for you here.
We are SAFE SERVICE®
Tyrol's tourism relies on certified safety – and we are a part of that. We take our role as a responsible host very seriously and use the "SAFE SERVICE" learning app as a modern training tool for our staff*. Our establishment has successfully completed the digital training on safety topics such as protective measures, safety distance rules, and hygienic or contactless customer experience. New regulations, such as entry tests, guest registration, and prevention policies are also part of the digital training. In case of significant changes, the app has the ability to inform directly via push message to mobile phone.
In this way, we live by SAFE SERVICE® internally and always know what precautionary and safety measures need to be implemented for our guests. We also consciously present SAFE SERVICE® to the public and make it clear that we are a SAFE SERVICE® business. By doing so, we do our part in making the region known as a safe holiday destination.

How are the current hygiene standards implemented?
Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, we applied the highest hygiene standards at Natur- & Alpinhotel Post. The federal government has published various regulations for accommodation establishments. You can view these at www.sichere-gastfreundschaft.at.
It is our goal to implement these regulations as well as possible behind the scenes in order to enable our guests an undisturbed and relaxing stay. We can guarantee that the hygiene regulations are permanently observed and have top priority.
What do guests need upon arrival?
When entering catering and accommodation establishments, the Austrian “3G” rule applies. Proof of one of the following must be provided:
- Antigen self-test with electronic registration (24h)
- Antigen self-test carried out under supervision at the accommodation facility or tourism office (48h)
- Antigen test carried out at a test centre of the state of Tyrol (48h)
- PCR test (72h)
- In case of complete vaccination with a vaccine that requires a single dose: from the 22nd day after vaccination
- In case of vaccination with a vaccine that requires two doses: from the 22nd day after the first vaccination
- Recovery from the virus in the past six months (medical or official confirmation)
- Evidence of neutralising antibodies (no older than three months)
Do guests have to be tested on-site?
Hotel guests in Austria must carry out a self-test under supervision on-site every 2 days from a stay that exceeds the validity of the test produced upon arrival. Testing is offered at the hotel and we will keep you informed about this!
Do guests need to wear a mask during their stay?
In accordance with Austrian federal government regulations, our guests are not required to wear masks in public areas of the hotel.
Is there a safe distance to be respected?
Currently, no minimum distance needs to be observed between groups of visitors.
Can we use the Saunadörfl and the “little mountain lake” pool?
Both our Saunadörfl and our “little mountain lake” pool can be used in compliance with hygiene regulations.
Is the hiking programme still available?
You do not have to fear any restrictions with regard to our hiking programme. Our offered activities take place in small groups in compliance with the mandatory safety distance and a maximum number of people allowed.
The Ötztal mountain lifts, museums, and public transport are also all in operation.
How are the required measures implemented in the dining room?
Due to the size of our dining facilities, we are able to provide our guests with sufficient space for a relaxed breakfast or dinner. Buffets are permitted under special conditions and are offered on a limited basis. Dinner can be enjoyed as before. Our à la carte restaurant will remain closed in the evening and the seating of our hotel guests will be extended to our à la carte restaurant. For the time being, a closing time at midnight applies.
What does Natur- & Alpinhotel Post do in the event of an infection at the hotel?
In the event of a suspected case of Covid-19 at the hotel, we have put together a detailed action plan with our general practitioner and the authorities to implement the right measures immediately. Please let us know if you feel unwell or ill. Our reception team is well-trained and will help you with the upmost professionality.
- The sick person must stay in the room together with family members.
- We contact our general practitioner immediately.
- If there is a suspected case, the doctor will inform the health authorities.
- The room will thereafter be professionally disinfected
What is the cancellation policy?
To enable you to plan your holiday without worry and to ensure maximum flexibility, we have taken the appropriate safety and hygiene measures as well as adapted our cancellation policy for the 2021 summer season:
From now on, you can cancel your stay up to 7 days before arrival free of charge. Should the measures be lifted and unrestricted travel be possible, the previous cancellation policy will apply.
