Sölden ski resort, Obergurgl/Hochgurgl & Vent: skiing and more

Sölden ski resort is probably the most famous highlight, which you will encounter during your ski holidays in the Ötztal valley. Sölden ski resort is located only 20 minutes’ drive from our hotel in Tyrol, offering breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding region. But Sölden and its ski resort are not the only attraction here. The entire Ötztal valley is pure idyll with its pristine nature – in winter with snowy mountains as far as the eye can see, glistening bright in the warm sunshine, promising a wonderful ski holiday in the Alps.

Beside Sölden ski resort, we also highly recommend Hochgurgl/Obergurgl as well as the ski resort right here in Vent, in front of our hotel. Each one of these ski areas – Sölden ski resort, Hochgurgl/Obergurgl and Vent – are unique and have a special charm, each one promising but one thing: an amazing ski holiday in the Alps

Little brother of Sölden ski resort: Vent ski resort

The slopes on intermediate level are well suited for beginners and families. But also experts and pros get their money’s worth during a day on the slopes of Vent. Just like in Sölden ski resort, you can improve your skiing technique here with the help of one of the ski instructors of Vent ski school. And before you know it, you are nearly as good as the certified ski instructors themselves!

In the Alpine ski resort in Vent you can ski directly to the front door of our hotel nearby Sölden ski resort. This way you do not need to pack and unpack your gear or take a car- or bus ride to get to the ski resort. Even lunch at our hotel or a few quiet hours on our terrace are easily possible – thanks to the location of our hotel, directly on the slopes!

After an exciting day in Vent ski resort you can store your gear in our ski room with ski-boot dryer and afterwards, relax in our sauna village
